Depression: The Invisible Wound

Bandaids, casts, walkers, wheelchairs and canes

These things are obvious and applied for many pains

When you hurt deep in your heart or mind

There doesn't seem to be a fix of any kind


Should a bandaid be put over a head or heart

For compassion from others or healing ourselves to start

Words can be bandaids or they can be knives

Using them or recieving them can change lives
